Main Page

This is the home page for Midwest Furry Fandom, Incorporated. We are a 501(c)3 (Not-For-Profit) organization incorporated within the state of Illinois for the purpose of holding an annual convention, Midwest Furfest, to facilitate education in anthropomorphic literature, art and performance.

Anthropomorphics is the study of non-human characters (usually animal-based) given human characteristics such as intelligence, speech, and civilization. These characters can be used for literary tools, artistic expression, or speculation on a future where sentient forms other than human can exist.

The next Midwest Furfest will be (pandemic permitting) held as a physical convention from December 3 to December 5, 2021.

A Midwest Furry Fandom board meeting will be held in-person on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at the convention.  Room and time will be specified as part of the convention schedule.
